Tear Trough Treatment
This treatment involves injecting small amounts of filler under the eyes and above the cheek bones to restore lost volume which reduces the hollowness and dark circles under the eyes. It also reduces fine lines and wrinkles, giving a less tired and more refreshed appearance.
Depending how much lost volume there is you may need to come back for a second treatment 4-6 weeks later at a reduced price.
What happens during my appointment?
A consultation will firstly be undertaken by a registered nurse, this is to ensure the treatment is suitable for you, to understand your concerns and to go through the expectations of the end result. The consultation will also include discussing the procedure in detail and signing your consent form.
This treatment can cause some discomfort, but the pain is minimal and numbing cream is applied prior to the treatment. A cannula is used to disperse the dermal filler into the tear trough area, the type of filler used is Teosyal Redensity 2, which is the only filler licensed in the UK for this procedure. Aftercare advice will be given, and aftercare cream can be purchased.
